It's been awhile hasn't it?

I just realized how long it's been since I wrote a post... wow! It caught me by surprise.

I've been cleaning, gardening, giving away/donating, cooking, reading, walking, etc... lots of fun stuff and even a bit of sewing.

I have also been working on my embroidery panels/blocks for the Vintage Tin Route 66 quilt. I'm renaming mine since I'm a Highway 395 girl rather than a Route 66 girl! :) And, I've made a few changes to some of the blocks to reflect that.

Believe it or not, although they were much more detailed, the next two blocks were my favorites. I love motorcycles and these remind me of my motorcycle riding days. The "Woody" with the little trailer takes me back to my childhood and the memory of many, many happy trips to Mammoth Lakes and Bridgeport/Twin Lakes.

I'm about halfway done with the number of blocks required (I've done 5 of 10), although I have the three largest blocks still to do so maybe I'm not completely halfway. And, I need to give them all a very good press job when I'm finished.

Take care,

Those will be gorgeous blocks when you are finished. Do remember to share the quilt when you are finished. : )
