A little quilting and knitting...

I'm quilting the most recent quilt I made using the "Scrappy Trip Around the World" blocks and I'm about halfway done!

I basted it Tuesday evening and then got started on the quilting yesterday afternoon. I'm doing a simple wavy line across the quilt to give it some motion since the blocks are so squared up and straight.

I've also started knitting a scarf using lots of little balls of leftover sock yarn... all of it BMFA Socks that Rock. Love their colorways.

I'm not planning the colors... I'm just taking them "one ball at a time!" So far my shoulder is handling the knitting quite well. My fingers are crossed that I'll be able to continue.

I'm heading out to the library now. We've started watching the Duchess of Duke Street and I'm returning the first three episodes and checking out the next three. It was hard to get interested in it at first, but we hung in there and now we're really enjoying  it.

Take care,

That scrappy trip looks gorgeous - such dense, rich colour!!

And those socks are intriguing… I'll have to check out that pattern.

Your scarf matches the quilt! How did you find it matching all the seems in the blocks? I've one o few blocks but kind of lost interest when I realized I'd have to match all those seams.
Your quilt is so pretty!

Love the quilt! The backing is gorgeous also.

Blue Moon Fiber Arts is absolutely gorgeous yarn. It's my favorite also. I get a little stingy with it though and only make things for me with it. :)

Funny how well both projects match. Love the ripple in the scarf. How do you do that?

So glad to hear your shoulder is holding up. Scrappy Trip and the ripple scarf both look wonderful! I think I have both in my future too, just not sure how quickly.
