Remember here? Where I mentioned I started a new project? Well, here it is. Finished! This is what I did on my "staycation" and this was my first peek at it after having it quilted.
I used a lot of different fabrics...anything bright, cheerful, and colorful was put into this quilt. It's the Capriccio pattern from Pie in the Sky and it was really fun. Lots of fun and lots of 1 1/2" fabric strips. Lots and lots of strips! LOL!
I LOVE this quilt!

Oh Terri - I hope it's for you!! It's incredible!! And I'm not kidding - I absolutely love that quilt and it is so different from what I normally choose. I need to expand my horizons. Wow! Love it!
Absolutely stunning!!! What a wonderful, colorful heirloom piece. Congratulations to you both!
Terri, I am so glad the you love your quilt! I do too! From the minute that I opened the box with your top and backing in it, I was in love. Lots of color, you know how I love color. I am so happy you like the quilting I did on your quilt and thank you for the chance to work on your quilt. You are great!
I LOVE this quilt. Their patterns are great and of course you had a wonderful assortment of fabric. I think you have a large percentage of those fabrics in your shop (and I have purchased a lot of them!). What a treat to see a bright quilt on this cold winter day with drifting snow.
What a fun quilt! I just love bright colors, and these fabrics sing to me. You both did a great job!

Would love to know how to make the quilt on display at road to California by Susan Maddox with nine patches coming off each side of a hexagon....what then? Even the experts I asked were stumped.
