Knitting...then and now

This Chevron Scarf took me quite awhile to finish. It's because it's warmer out and my desire to knit subsides when the weather warms up. Besides, I have been quilting more and that leaves less time for knitting. it's wonderful to have several different interests to fall back on. Anyway, this scarf turned out quite well considering it was an experiment. I like the way the three different colors combined. I will admit that it was a bit tedious keeping three balls of yarn untangled but still well worth it, in my opinion!



My new knitting project is another pair of socks. This yarn is Fleece Artist Blue-faced Leicester all the way from Nova Scotia, which I've never used before but really like. It's easy to knit and it's super soft. I just wanted to knit a simple pattern to show off the striping of the yarn.
