Mystery quilt is finished!

Last week I was ready to throw this quilt in the trash and be done with it. This week I absolutely love it! Funny how that happens, isn't it?

I was struggling to get it quilted and had to pick out stitches twice, hence the first weeks frustration. Now it's done, and with a modern quilting design too, and I'm so happy with the way it looks.

This quilt will be in an exhibition here in Thousand Oaks until mid-June, at which time it will be listed in my etsy shop. If you think you are interested in it, you are welcome to contact me now regarding details. Email is imquilternity at yahoo dot com.

Take care,

I am always so afraid of doing a mystery quilt, because I want to know what the overall design and color scheme is before I put all the effort into cutting and piecing. This mystery quilt is a small ray of hope for me. Maybe I will let go enough one day to attempt one, and this example will be the start of that...
