I bought a little fabric.

I bought a little fabric on our trip. Actually, it was my husband's idea, can you believe it? He's definitely an enabler. Anyway, we shipped it home vis USPS and it was here when we arrived. Talk about great service.

I can pack a lot of fabric into those medium flat rate priority envelopes!

Some of this is current, but a lot is fabric that's from a season or two ago. I don't care cuz I love it all. The majority of these are larger pieces to use as backings since that's one thing I just don't have enough of.  I didn't get a chance to get these unpacked until today... now all I have to do is find room for them. Oy.

A few pieces came from Alewives Fabric in Damariscotta Mills. We just happened upon it as we were driving around and it was such a treat. It's located in an old house on a little side street and it's really very charming inside. They have all the latest and greatest fabrics and many, many gorgeous samples (of all kinds, but a lot of beautiful quilts) displayed in the shop. If you're in the neighborhood, this is definitely someplace you should stop.

Take care,

Now I really AM pea green with envy. All your choices look like fabrics I'd expect you to love. GREAT choices!
Kudos to your husband for suggesting the stop!

Great selection there for you to play with Terri! It's amazing the amount of fabric which will fit into those boxes.

I spy some larger pieces of KFC! I love the one on the bottom (or is that Martha Negley?) and the pink background one near the middle (PJacobs?) So jealous! Isn't it nice to have an enabling husband? I always say that mine "always buys my chairs" from that John Travolta movie "Phenomenon". Have fun!
