Fractured QAL... week 4!

Ok, so even though I didn't get anything done on the Fractured until yesterday afternoon, I did make some progress and here it is. I'm certainly moving at a snail's pace compared with everyone else, but that's ok with me.

It's starting to become a bit more difficult to figure out what fabrics I want to use to get the quilt to look like the idea of it I have in mind. Do you ever get the idea that sometimes trying to make something easier might actually make it more complicated? Story of my life. :))

As you can see too, I need a much larger design wall as I've had to tape the two leftmost blocks to the painted wall behind it. Actually I would like several design walls (like Wanda), but my room does not allow for it. I've used almost every inch of space I've got so my only solution is to get a larger piece of felt/batting/something to hang in place of that very (permanently, I cannot get the wrinkles out no matter what I do) wrinkled and too-small design wall.

Anyway, please visit Vicki's blog if you want to see everyone's progress here!

Take care,

I have been wanting to make this quilt for the longest time! May be just what I do with my left over black and whites from Blowin'. Oh how I love your fabric colors with their brightness. Kaffe fabrics will always be my favorite!!!!
