A while ago...

On very good advice, I purchased a Janome Even Feed Foot (walking foot) to use on my Juki TL98e as I was told it would work perfectly on this machine. At the time, I promised to let you know how it worked for me. It's taken me awhile to get around to trying it and sadly, it did not even fit the machine. I'm naive I guess because I believed the gentleman who sold the foot to me when he said it would definitely fit my machine and it would be the answer to my walking foot "problem"  on the TL98e so I didn't even check if it was going to fit when I brought it home. It's been sitting, brand new, still-in-the-package, until just last week when I needed to use it to quilt a quilt and I was shocked to find that it didn't fit. I sure feel very foolish for not having tried it before then.

I could try to return it to the store where I bought it, but 1) it's been awhile and I'm not sure they would let me return it at this point, and 2) I really don't want to go back to that shop again.

So, I have a brand new, still-in-the-package Janome Even Feed Foot with quilting guide for sale. $30 (which is what I paid for it, although I was told they went up to $50 right after I bought it) + shipping (which I think via USPS first class mail would be relatively cheap). The package states that it is for the Memory Craft Embroidery Machines. Contact me if you are interested and I'll send you a Paypal invoice.

And, I'm still in need of a walking foot for my TL98e so if you know of one that actually works, please, please, please, let me know about it, will you?

On a brighter note, I did finish the quilting on that quilt, using my Bernina, and will be posting about it as soon as I can get a decent whole quilt photo. I have a difficult time with that since I don't have a great spot in my home to shoot one, but I'll figure something out! :)

Happy Monday!

what happened to the walking foot that comes with the Juki? probably it's hard to get a compatible one from another company because all the Juki feet screw on. good luck!

I am not sure how different the shaft is from my Juki TL98Q but I'm on my 4th walking foot. They aren't cheap. The replacement for my machine is this Janome foot.... http://www.amazon.com/Walking-Xa7253001-Shank-Straight-Stitch/dp/B003GWYLEU/ref=sr_1_27?ie=UTF8&qid=1373308797&sr=8-27&keywords=janome+walking+foot

I recommend that you google Juki dealers in your area and go from there. Do you know if your feet are low or high shank? Knowing that will help you find the correct foot. Simply measure up from the base of your foot to the screw that holds it in place. If the measurement is 1/2" it is low shank, and if 1" it is high shank. Good luck in your search!

Have you tried sewing parts online? They seem to have parts foe every machine. I have the same machine but it came with a walking foot.
