Photoshop fun!

It's been a busy week for me, as usual, but this time it was all doctor appointments. I've been to 4 different doctors now and have had 4 different diagnosis for my ear problem. It's frustrating to say the least and I'm still not feeling better. I'm beginning to trust my intuition much more than I trust doctors. I walked out of the specialists office just shaking my head at what he told me. I would be crazy if I acted on that information. This is going to make me sound old (which I am), but I remember when a doctor really knew what he was talking about. :)

Anyway, to cheer myself up a bit, I played around in photoshop some more and created these two looks from the same photo. Which one do you like best? These photos were taken three years ago when I was at the Long Beach Quilt Festival. We walked across the street to get something to eat and found this charming little "village".

I really have been wanting a Lensbaby lens and until I get one, this is the next best method to get the look I'm going for.

Hope you all have a wonderful weekend - I know I'm planning on having one.

Take care,

I like the second one better--the one with the boat that is more focused. In the first one, the house in focus tends to capture my attention and then I don't look anywhere else. Just my thoughts. And sorry you're having ear problems.

I'm sorry to hear you are having problems with doctors... Been there, no fun! I had been going to just 'MDs' and finally went to a 'D.O.' and got my questions answered... Might be worth looking into if you haven't

Terri,
Hope your ear gets better soon. It must be very uncomfortable! Hang in there and don't settle until you feel better. Meanwhile, don't you just love photoshop? Have fun playing with it. Steph

Great tinkering with that shot - I love that miniature look...

I'm hoping that the ear problem is resolved soon. I can't imagine how frustrating that must be.

I think I like the one with the boat in the foreground in focus. I'm still wishing for Photoshop.
It took me almost 2 years to get some of my issues solved. I hope you get some relief soon.

I like them both equally although the boat has a lot of detail. What a neat effect. I hope you feel better soon.
