It's a giveaway...

Here are six half-yard pieces  -that's 3 yards-  of gorgeous Jill Gordon fabric that I'm giving away. I'm not being altogether altruistic here...there is a method to my madness. I'm trying to clear out all the Jill Gordon fabrics (which are taking up about three feet of space that I desparately need) to make room for new fabrics.  These are wonderful fabrics, especially at this very reduced price, for backings too!! (hint, hint)

Just leave a comment (no anonymous and no duplicate comments accepted for the giveaway) letting me know if you would be interested in participating in a Yard Sale Linky Party. To be held on a Saturday later in the month or possibly next month. That much time would allow me (and everyone participating) to assemble items and get a post written about them. I'm not sure yet what the "guidelines" will be in regards to items, but I'm thinking "stash stuff." Anything you've had in your stash and want to sell. I've participated in these parties on other blogs and have had pretty good luck selling. So I thought it would be fun to try it on my own blog. I'll post more about it in the next couple of weeks if there is enough interest.

Back to the giveaway....I will draw a "winner" next Wednesday so you have until midnight, EST on Tuesday (4/10/12) to join in.

And for that period of time, Jill's fabrics will be on sale at... 55% off
Good Luck!

Absolutely beautiful fabric! I'm going to check out your sale. I don't have a blog but would so love to buy some beautiful stash fabric. :)

Very pretty fabric! I might be interested in participating if I could get it organized. I don' have much fabric to get rid of though.
I'll watch for details.

I don't really have much that I want to get rid of (out of my sewing stuff, that is), but it's an interesting idea. Thanks for the chance for the lovely giveaway!

What a very fun giveaway! I'm not that organized to participate in a Yard sale. We are in the middle of getting our old house ready for renters, so I'm on a time crunch. But I'd love to see what others contribute to the sale.

My LQS is having a yard sale - a quilting one - sometimes this month. An online one sounds like fun too!

Lovely fabric and a great giveaway. The sale sounds interesting but I am probably not organized enough to participate.

Oh, boy, what a great idea to have a virtual yard sale -- would it be only for fabric, or could we sell books, as well? I've got some of both that might be a whole lot happier in someone else's house . . .

Thanks Terri for the chance to win this fun give away. Yes please throw my name in the hat. I am a quilter, but I don't pick up alot of excess fabric. I'm sure I could come up with something for a yard sale if you decide to do it. Sounds like a fun idea!
Hugs,
Jann

I just love the fabrics you so generously are giving away, I love the bright colours. Its a great idea with a yard sale online, but living in Norway that will maybe not be ideal. But I will follow your posts about it :o)

I would be interested in participating in a Linky Yard Sale, I have a lot of books that would be a good find for another quilter.

Such gorgeous prints! Yes, they would make fantastic backings. i don't have a blog, so a linky garage sale wouldn't work for me.

Beautiful, beautiful fabric. I'm new to quilting so my stash is pretty minimal and I don't want to part with any yet. I'm always open to adding though!

That's just beautiful fabric. I'd love to see what others might sell, but have no blog of my own or fabric to sell. Kathie L I. Allentown

I was very pleased to find your shop via Quiltshops.com. Love the name! I am sorely tempted by that Fresh Squeezed bundle and you may yet get an order for it from me. I have never heard of Jill Gordon fabrics and they remind me of Philip Jacobs and Martha Negley designs. Have a good day!

What a bad influence you are!!! Getting me over here to feast my eyes on this luscious fabric!! Her fabrics are always beautiful.

I've seen some others have Sat. blog/garage sales and it appears they do pretty good at it! Good Luck with yours and I'll think about if I have anything to get rid of!!

Gorgeous fabric! your linky sale sounds interesting but as I'm in Australia, it may not work for me. I've only been buying quilt fabrics for about a year so don't really want to part with any just yet!

Minka said...

Thanks for the give away. I'm not sure about the yard sale. Been busier than usual lately.

great fabrics! thanks for the chance to win. I'm thinking I wouldn't participate in a sale, mostly because shipping from Canada is really expensive.

Heather said...

Those fabrics are wonderful and would look great in a project I am planning on starting soon. Looks like they would blend with some of my Kaffe fabrics. Don't think I would have time to participate in a Garage sale right now but I love the idea for another time.

I've been eyeing these lovely fabrics in your shop :) I couldn't think of a use for them, but then you mentioned "backings"! I think the yard sale is already completed?, but I'd be interested in participating if you do another!

I'm commentiing in the 11th hour. (Literally). So I think the Yard sale is finished and "sold" :) What a great idea! I'll be sure to check out the next one. Hope you had a great Easter and are enjoying the spring season, and all that it brings!
