Scrappy Strip String progress...

As you can see I'm making slow, but steady progress on my "string" quilt.

Still having fun and still cutting strips for this quilt and another one I'll start once this one is done. Although, after re-reading the instructions last night, I might have to take a break in between these "strip/string" quilts and make something sheerly for the "fun" of it. Not that they all aren't fun, but some are more work than others. At least for me.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend and are ready to get back into your weekly routine.

Take care,

Teri,
So lovely to meet you. I love fabric and I stopped by your web site too. YOur strip quilt looks beautiful already. Do you use a special machine to cut the strips or a rotary cutter?

Have fun.

I get bored easily, so I find almost any quilt block boring once I've got the first few done.
I love the strip quilt though. I like the Kaffe Fassett s with the white and blacks. It is so pretty it makes me almost want to do one too. Maybe the next one.

What a bright and cheery quilt. I love all those strings you've pieced together.
Have a great week!

Love this Terri. What pattern did you use. I love how the colors spread out to the lights on the edges. I've only made one small string wall hanging, but I really didn't know what I was doing ;-)

I really like how you are using different white w/black prints for the center strips! It's going to be a very pretty quilt.

I really like your selection of the white fabric! It really gives the blocks a really unique look.
