I found a bit of time on Sunday to work on my quilt. I sewed some of the the sashing strips onto blocks and then sewed those blocks together into a strip. Now I need to do the sashing strips in the other direction and the posts. It is amazing to me how adding just a little bit of a complementary color really causes this quilt to come alive. I am loving it and am anxious to see the quilt proceed as I begin to add the side and corner triangles.
I've even got plans for my next quilt....good news right? I'm hoping my quilting funk is over for a good long while. I've never had it last that long before and it was a bit scary. I was almost thinking about getting rid of my stash....can you imagine? WHAT was I thinking? :)

Wow Terri, your quilt is amazing! I love that stripe you are using in there. I'm sooo glad you didn't get rid of your stash and got your mojo back, yikes!! xo
I love this! It's beautiful and your fabric choices are awesome. If I can have half this much success on my next project I'll be happy as a clam.
I can see how thinking about getting rid of your stash was scary! I'm glad you've picked up quilting again.
Love that funky sashing!
Get rid of your stash! Are you crazy? That said, I've been seriously weeding down my stash, getting rid of fabrics from me "what was I thinking" collection. Funny though, was passing by some of them and looked up to find just the one for a current project. Oh, the dilemma!
I'm glad you got that quilting funk over and done with, it looked pretty drastic there. Those striped sashings look fantastic and have really bought the quilt to life. It's going to be gorgeous.
I am LOVING those sashes -- they really DO make the quilt sing. And if you ever have that thought again about getting rid of your stash, you know my number, don't you????
