Labor Day weekend...are you having fun?

I wanted to leave you with something to look at while I'm on my "staycation" this week so I've scheduled several posts with this being the first.

I do hope you're enjoying a wonderful and relaxing Labor Day holiday weekend. I love this weekend as it signifies to me the end of summer and beginning of fall. By this time, I'm usually tired of the hot weather and ready to start cooling down, although this year we really haven't had too much hot weather yet. That's the funny thing...our weather usually only gets warmer through September and October so I don't know why I start thinking about fall this early! :)

Anyway, here's another of my early quilts. I made about 15+ of these baby quilts since they were so well received. It seemed like everyone wanted one. I sold them for $100 each which seemed exorbitant at the time, but no one seemed to flinch at it.

This was a fun quilt to make, but after 15 or so, I admit I didn't want to make any more. Believe it or not, I still have enough of these fabrics to make one more quilt and I'm still not ready. :)

Definitely worth $100 and they shouldn't flinch. Beautiful. I don't think I'd have the stamina to make 15 of the same thing. Good for you.

I can't imagine making 15 of the same quilts! 2 maybe, but 15?!

What a lovely quilt, no wonder it was so popular. I've never seen a baby quilt with the water color effect.
