As I was organizing my studio (actually still in progress) I found this apron that I made a couple months ago. I suppose it could be also be used as a gardening or tool apron rather than just for cooking. I used instructions found in a magazine and when I can find that magazine again I will add them to this post. I know I'll find it since I want to make a couple more of these for gifts. Very easy and very stylish, I think.

I apologize for the background. It's a lovely quilt, but a very busy background for an apron photo.

I also came across this redwork UFO that I've been working on for what seems like ages. It's been at least 3-4 years and I hope to finish it someday. I'm making no promises now, just showing it to you!

I had originally intended to make a pillow using this, but am now thinking it might be better framed and hung on the wall in my guest room! I love the saying...Life is nothing without friendship. Hold a true friend with both your hands. The pattern is by Linda Felix Ybarra (2000) and I cannot find an online link for her to share with you.

I hope that you find the pattern as it looks so lovely. I have a weakness for florals,so I was drawn to the fabric. The apron looks like it would make a very nice gift. Love the deep pockets.

I was thrift store shopping this weekend in pacific grove and bought the same red work pattern for .50. I have also spent some time looking for the artist since it is a series. I would love to have them all. I will keep looking. If I find her I will let you know
