Hard to believe it, but this is my 101st post!!

Anyway, I want to show you a few of Sue Benner's quilts that I was able to photograph. These are small, 17" square blocks, which is the size we worked on in class.

While I love all of Sue's quilts, I was, and still am, intrigued by this flower quilt and her flower series. This is the reason I wanted to take her class and although this wasn't the quilt we worked on, Sue was able to give me a rough idea of how she accomplishes this beauty.

We were delighted to discover that there are some extremely talented ladies in the Gualala quilt guild, Pacific Piecemakers. Here are some of their quilts.

And, finally, I thought you might want to see what Carol, Penny and I were able to create...

These first two quilts belong to Carol. She was actually able to get four started...more prolific than anyone else in class, but the lighting made it impossible to get a good picture.

This one belongs to Penny.

And this one is mine.

thanks for the update on the workshop. There surely was a lot of talent in the class. Your piece has a lot of energy and I love the colors.
