Hubby and I enjoyed the holiday season immensely. We attended a couple of great parties, spent Christmas Eve at friends enjoying a wonderful dinner, and relaxed and enjoyed the atmosphere of the season.
2015... wow! We're at the age where as exciting as a new year is, it's a bit hard to acknowledge the passing of the last one. We feel the nostalgia for a moment or two on New Year's Eve and then it passes and we anticipate the new year with excitement.
I haven't been idle during the holidays... I spent quite a bit of time trying new recipes and cooking. And we watched a whole lot of the Inspector Montalbano TV series, which I absolutely love. I love the way the Italian language sounds and their food looks sooooo good!
And, of course, I got some sewing done. I made a couple more needlecases - one for myself and another for a friend. I will gift it to her next week, but I'm sharing it here now since I don't think she reads my blog.
Mine is the brownish one in the background and it matches my Iron Caddy. I guess I'm into paisley right now since both of them use a paisley fabric for the cover. These are the most fun little project and they are perfect for the friend who does lots of hand needlework.
Hope you're all enjoying a wonderful beginning to this new year. 2015... wow!!
Take care,

I'm a big fan of paisley and your needle cases are gorgeous. Lovely and bright, your friend will love hers.
These are beautiful, Terri -- you always choose the coolest combination of fabrics for your projects. Lucky friend!
