Dyeing eggs for Easter...

I finished dyeing easter eggs a couple of hours ago and they are drying on the rack. I'll move them into a nice bowl in a little while and they'll be used as part of a centerpiece on the table. Even though we have no kids, we are kids at heart and still love to dye eggs. I don't know if you'll be able to see it in the photos but the majority of these eggs look like they have a band of darker color around the middle. I don't have a clue why this happened, but it was certainly nothing that I intentionally did. Funny...

Anyway, hope you are having a lovely weekend. The weather here is wonderful today and we hope it will be the same tomorrow. DH plays trumpet in an Easter service tomorrow morning and then we'll probably take one of our "Sunday drives" in the afternoon.

Hope your Easter (if you celebrate) is a happy one.

Happy Easter, Terri! I did crochet eggs this year following a tutorial I found. I too like to have eggs around.
Have a fun day!
We're alone too, no kids home this yer. I had a potluck yesterday for my husbands family. Today we'll relax.

I have no idea why that happened, but they look so cheerful! Isn't is fun to watch the transformation of white to fun colors. The Easter bunny just finished hiding the eggs for my grndkids. The fun will begin shortly.

Your eggs are lovely. The stripes are just a design element, quilters know all about design elements LOL.
