I've been working on strip sets, small placemats and mug rugs for awhile but sat down last night and got quite a few started and a couple (actually 4) finished.
Although I love them all, I think this one is my favorite in this grouping.
This group need to be sandwiched, quilted, and bound. Tonight, while watching TV, I'll do that.
I'm going to be selling these, and more, very soon. Hubby will take some of them into his workplace and if there are any left they will go into my new etsy shop (which is unpopulated presently).
And while I normally don't show to the world what a slob I am when working in my sewing room, I thought you might find it interesting. I've got frames/photos that need to be hung on the wall that are in the paper shopping bag in the background. The blue shirts need to be ironed and I'm working on a pink/white pillow cover which is one the far right top side of the photo. The rest of the mess is just mess! :)) I'll bet most of you find yourselves in this same position when you're being creative.
I finished my Scrappy Trip Along quilt top and prepared the backing. All I have to do now is cut a piece of batting and pin baste it. I hope to do that sometime next week and then I'll begin quilting it. Not quite sure how I'll quilt it yet, but it will be something very simple. Lately, I'm thinking that simple is good.
Shipping rates have been raised (boo hoo) but my fabric SALE is still going strong. We've got GREAT prices...come see!
Take care,

I was hoping to see some results from your sew-in from last night. Very productive I might add! And I love the black binding on the one that I think you mentioned as your favorite. Off to see if it's still in your shop (but I'm doubtful).
I too love the binding on your favorite one! Mug rugs are such fun to do.
Very pretty! Looks like you got a lot done!
They are so bright and cheerful---I love them! :) Loved seeing your sewing area too. :o
So bright and colorful, love them!
These are lovely - I particularly like them with the polka dot binding.
