"The vital force of labor added materially to the highest standard of living and the greatest production the world has ever known and has brought us closer to the realization of our traditional ideals of economic and political democracy. It is appropriate, therefore, that the nation pay tribute on Labor Day to the creator of so much of the nation's strength, freedom, and leadership — the American worker".
Standard of Living? Down. Greatest production the world has ever known? Not so much anymore. We have lost and continue to lose American workers on a daily basis. When will it stop? I beg you to think about this question and take the steps to help America recover - in any way you possibly can.
Off my soapbox now. Hope you enjoy your day!

Sad, isn't it. And worrisome!
Getting more and more difficult to read the newspaper each day -- all we can do is pray, I think, and try to make beautiful art as much as we can. I think that's a form of prayer in itself, and it helps to make the world a little more beautiful.
