We had a lovely Thanksgiving! It was a relaxing day and I had a great time in the kitchen preparing our meal. I tried a couple of new recipes this year and they were both a huge success. I made a dish using brussel sprouts, bacon, and apples and it was a huge hit! I think it tastes even better as left-overs. And for dessert I made a Blueberry Tort. It was really good and not quite as heavy, or as sweet, as some of the traditional Thanksgiving desserts can be.
It was easy and fun, too! If you would like the recipe, just email me (in the sidebar to the right of this post) and I'll send it to you.

Glad you had a great time! Food looks great!
The pastry looks good on that torte and I'm glad you had a lovely thanksgiving. I'll leave the brussel sprouts, they're an evil food from childhood, lol.
I'm with Janet, the Brussel Sprouts are BAD vegetables LOL. The Torte looks super yummy (no recipe though as I am no baker LOL). We have finished up all the left overs so now we have to wait until spring when I like to make another turkey :0)
