Summertime...

and the living is easy, right? I've been making strawberry jam, picking cherries and apricots (so much fun), sewing more strips together, getting together with my LOE quilt group, and attending our final quilt class and great pot-luck the day after having a root canal. I even started quilting the feathers on my Eagle quilt. And, I've been spending a lot more time outside now that it's summer!! Although, as I write this at 1:22 pm it's still thick, thick fog outside my window.

Now I'm off to iron some shirts for my husband. Believe it or not, I love to iron!

Oh, and new Kaffe fabrics are here and soon they'll be in the shop.

It sounds like lovely summer activites, except for the root canal and the ironing. You'd love the ironing if the guys wore shirts in those fabrics though.

You love to iron?! I'm not sure those words will ever cross my lips. I'm glad someone likes it though!

I love to iron too but only sewing type things. Great strips. Thanks for commenting on my blog.

Root canal -- ugh! So glad you've filled your days with great things to celebrate. Can't wait to see the eagle quilt!

Love love those fabrics, sounds like you are having a busy summer. I don't mind ironing at all, my mother ironed everything. I used to iron my hubby's shirts when he worked in the corporate world.
