Class notes...

I thought you might enjoy seeing a few things that were being worked on at class last Thursday.

Everyone in my class is talented and I enjoy each of them so much. My brain is like a sponge when I am there...quietly absorbing as much as I can. It's always fun to see the creations from week to week.

There are still a few of us working on our Completely Dotty quilts and although I'm at the stage where it's easier to work on it at home, Kathy is already at the machine quilting stage. Isn't her version just gorgeous?

I'm working on my borders and I'm drafting curved flying geese...much easier said than done, I'm finding. Susan brought hers to work on so I paid attention to what she did. She's putting it on her "Day of the Dead" quilt - which is gorgeous, I might add - and she's finding it challenging too! She's got a wonderful start, though.

I needed a project that was easily portable, so I started something new just to work on in class. I'm not going to reveal what it is yet, but this is my start.

I'm using all Kaffe's and Philip Jacobs fabrics....of course!

It must be fun in your class, I wish I were in it. I'll look forward to seeing more of the secret project. It's in Kaffe so I know I'll love it.

I've not heard of curved flying geese before. I'm looking forward to seeing them as well as your new project.

Curved flying geese are going to look great in your border -- it's a good feeling to watch the work unfold, isn't it?

Looks like you're enjoying the class and all the eye candy.. Love the Kathy's dotty quilt and your Kaffe quilt looks like it's going to be lovely as well. Can't wait to see more progress.
