Still working...

on my Completely Dotty. I'm cutting corner pieces right now and then I'll do the sashing. As you can see, I'm using black and/or dark backgrounds rather than white. I like being a little bit different.


I'm enjoying myself while in the process of making this quilt and working with all these great polka dotted fabrics!

WOW that's a lot of different polka dot fabrics!! I read somewhere that polka dots are the new neutral.

I have looked at that same pattern many times, but never had enough dotty fabric to do it. So I'm still hunting for fabric and plan on making it someday...........

I just joined Anina's Pinwheel Party from "the twiddletails blog" -- We are making pinwheel quilts and the mother quilt also uses a dark background. It looks sharp! I am excited to see your progress with the dark background -- it will look great!
