I shouldn't have...but I did. I joined another quilt-along. I really don't have the time for this, but I'm having such a good time making my nine-patches that I decided I will make the commitment.

This quilt-along is sponsored by Dana at Old Red Barn Co. This one is different in that in 6 weeks we will have a completed quilt assuming we can all stay on schedule. Much more work than one block a day. And, at the end of the six weeks she's giving away a Janome 6600 sewing machine. Think that's incentive to join?

These are the fabrics I've chosen. These are the colors that make me happy right now and they seem very spring/summer-like so I think they will be perfect for me.

There's also a Flickr group where you can follow along with everyone's progress.

Have a wonderful l-o-n-g weekend everyone!
