When these first became popular in 2003, I started four Convergence Quilts. I've only finished two and have two quilt tops remaining to be completed. This is the first one I made and I loved the fabrics in it.

This was the "focus" fabric and the one I used on the back in it's entirety. Isn't it an interesting fabric? I loved the large flowers and appliqued a few of them to the front side of the quilt.

I didn't really have a clue as to how to machine quilt it, so I just started quilting and this is what I ended up with. I'm not sure it makes any "sense", but I like it.

I really liked making these quilts. It was fun to choose fabrics for them and to see how the quilt turned out when it was all sewn together. Mine were all the small, wallhanging size so they were fast and easy. I'll you show the others soon!

If you haven't tried one yet, you should!

Oh Wow Terri that is beautiful!!! I'm not really fond of the Convergence Quilts until I saw yours. Your choices in fabrics really made a statement IMHO.
