Well, I finally got it to work! Yippee! I was able to create a color palette using Photoshop Elements.


Look how easy it would be to create a quilt around this fabric? I usually don't have a problem finding fabrics to combine with each other, but if I was working with a difficult fabric this method would sure be the solution!

I couldn't resist...thought I would try something realistic this time.



How fun! As you can see I'm easily amused.

The color palettes sure are fun to see. I really love that second one...now if I had a batch of hand dyes right this minute in those colors, I'd be off sewing....
