Here's another pair of socks I finished. These don't look at all how I envisioned when looking at the original hank of yarn (bottom of post). I thought they would be much lighter and that the rib pattern would show up much better. It's a nice pattern; Garter Rib by Charlene Schurch from Sensational Knitted Socks, and I think it would be gorgeous in a solid colored yarn, or at least one with very little variegation.

So now I've started another pair of socks using the pattern Mad Color Weave in STR Lochness for the Ravelry Socks that Rawk group Q2 Knit-A-Long. I'm loving how they look so far! Judy...you might really like this pattern!

Love those socks! It reminds me that I really should get back to making some with all the sock yarn I have! :)

Love the watercolor quilt. The colors are so pretty! Very nice job. :)

I'm loving both pairs! We were under a severe Thunderstorm Warning and Tornado Watch last night. When the wind really picked up, we headed to the basement with Barker and Elsie, our kitty cat. Craig brought along our laptop and I brought along a new ball of yarn and some circular needles! LOL I'll check out your new pattern! Thanks!

Happy Easter!

YIKES: I've just looked at that pattern! I think this new pair of socks that I'm knitting may have just have a simple cable or two running up the legs........something that I can knit and not have to put too much thought into! That said, I am going to download that sock pattern for future reference. Thanks!
