I've been having lots of fun lately working with strips (clean-up cuts, as Wanda refers to them). I've made aprons, hotpads, a drawstring bag and am starting a wreath. It feels good to work with these strips that otherwise would be considered waste.

All three of these aprons were ordered as gifts and the photos are courtesy of the buyers. I was told that the giftees were all very happy with their aprons which makes me breathe a little sigh of relief.

I've got a nice little stack of hotpads to sell too! These are really fun because they are so fast and easy to make.

And, last but certainly not least, I made this drawstring bag. It's an unusual size, but I needed something tall! It's lined with the same fabric as is on the bottom of the bag and has six pockets inside.

Well, that's it for sewing for this week. I've also been spending some time in my studio trying to organize and straighten up.

Have a wonderful weekend and I hope you get some sewing, quilting, and/or knitting time!
