I finished my Blenders and I LOVE them! These by far, are the best fitting socks I've made yet and they are just simple stockinette. They are so cozy. That's the thing about socks...I like them to be cozy and comfy. I keep thinking I'll make some of the beautiful patterned socks, but the minute I have a couple inches done and I realize that they will not be comfortable, I frog them! I'm just a simple girl with simple tastes, I guess.

So, now I'm going to try something novel. I'm actually going to knit a pair of socks out of BMFA Socks that Rock yarn! This is the gorgeous colorway I've chosen. It's called Sugarplum.

Fabulous socks. I know what you mean about simple patterns fitting the best. Love the STR.

What pattern is this? Is it a freebie somewhere and would it be beginner friendly? I recently bought a ball of magic stripes yarn and want to try knitting socks...need something that'll only use one ball for a pair...snicker...and you mentioned in an earlier post that you wouldn't go back to DPN; that you tried a loop of some sort? Can you elaborate? Sorry for all the questions :P

I'm commenting on an old post... would love to know more about the "blenders" pattern, since I have some yarn that would be perfect. Also you mentioned that you were doing the "magic loop" thing -- are you doing the two-at-a-time version? I have the book but have been reluctant to dive in!
