Quilternity's Place

Yesterday was HOT! So, I headed north to Carpenteria with a friend whose folks have rented a beach house for the week. It seemed like everyone else had the same idea too. I haven't been to a beach this crowded in years. It's usually a bit cooler in Carpenteria, but it wasn't yesterday.



After a few hours we headed back through town on our way home and found the Farmer's Market in full swing. We had to stop since Carpenteria has the BEST fresh spinach I have ever tasted!!!



And, lots of gorgeous flowers!



Today, I'll be busy playing "catch-up" for my day off, but it was well worth it!
