Until now I haven't had the time to show you that I've finished knitting three pair of socks! It's been fun and relaxing to work on them and I have improved with each pair. Looking back, I can't believe I was so intimidated by them. Same thing happened with pie dough until I finally decided it wasn't going to get the best of me!

Now I'm contemplating whether to make more socks in more complicated patterns, or a shrug/shawl to put over my shoulders in the evening. I visited my local knit shop and looked at what seemed like millions of pattern and books but just couldn't find what I have in mind. Guess I'll just have to go online and find it!

Anyway, here's my first pair, which are BIG since I didn't really know what I was doing, but they are fine as "slipper socks".

My second pair fit much better since, by this time, I had purchased Ann Budds book and it walked me through the entire process of fitting them for my own feet! Great book, by the way.

For my third pair I used Colinette Jitterbug in color Fire. I loved this yarn, it was just so easy to knit with!
