Our local guild hosted Peggy Martin on Wednesday and one of the members of my "mini" group, Ladies of the Evening, took her workshop. This is Penny's lovely block, which so closely resembles the Millenium Star block in Peggy's book, Quick Strip Paper-Piecing (and which, by the way, is a WONDERFUL book). It reminded me just how much fun (and how precise) paper-piecing can be. There are some great patterns and books out there on the subject, by Judy Niemeyer and Jacqueline DeJonge, just to name a couple, many of which I carry in my shop!
