Lol! Glad to know I'm not the only one... I'm terrible at remembering to change the blade or for thinking that I can eke out a few more cuts before it's toast but the second you do change it... I think it's my frugal side (blades seem to be so expensive) that keeps me from doing it more often though usually my safety side stops me from going too long. :-)

I'm guilty of the same thing. And the same goes with sewing machine needles. I don't change those until absolutely have too.

ReplyDeleteI change my needle and blade every new quilt. It makes a huge difference!
