I had to slow down my knitting a bit. It was aggravating my shoulder too much to continue at the pace I was going. I'm bummed, but I've found that I can still knit if I only do a couple rows a day and that's way better than not being able to knit at all.
I've finished one sock and have about 2 inches done on the second one. I also discovered, when I tried it on, that I made a mistake in the toe shaping. Once I've finished the second sock, I'll go back and fix the first one. Should be an easy fix.
I was out walking around in the garden this morning and thought the light was lovely for photos. I like to stroll around each morning and see the previous day's growth. It's a simple joy.
Take care,
Very cool. No ribbing? Will they stay up?
ReplyDeleteYes, Sally, they do stay up. I have measured my foot and know how many stitches to cast on for a sock that really fits me well from top to bottom. I did this because I just don't like loose socks! :)
ReplyDeletelove your socks!
ReplyDeleteThe socks are gorgeous with the colorway you used and the pattern.
ReplyDeleteYou make the BEST socks! I can feel the love that goes into creating them. Please take care of YOU in the process -- your motto is now, "Two rows a day keeps the doctor away." This is your mother speaking.
