Anyway, I finally got the quilting and binding done on this Scrappy Chevron. I did straight-line vertical quilting, which I'm really liking these days. I find myself, more and more, attracted to the simpler forms of quilting rather than all the feathers and curlicues I used to do.
It's quite a mix of fabrics and colors but as with all scrappy quilts, it all works together.
This will be in the shop tomorrow late afternoon.
Take care,
Looks splendid! After seeing yours here I am itching to get mine quilted.
ReplyDeleteWhat a pretty quilt! I recognize a lot of the fabrics. I'm excited to have purchased a ticket to see Kaffe fassett speak this summer.
ReplyDeleteYou have done a nice job photographing it too.
I'm glad you're having such a happy productive year.
Lovely, as usual. How did you put on your binding? You did a great job with it.
ReplyDeleteLooks fabulous to me! Keep plugging away on those projects! Isn't it wonderful when you have time to work on all those colorful projects. :)
ReplyDeleteThe white quilt underneath this one is absolutely beautiful, too -- is it one of your creations?
