We're going to see Gwen...

tonight, at the Conejo Valley Quilters guild meeting. Her lecture will be on Abstract Quilts in Solids. The lecture is illustrated with quilts from her book Ideas and Inspirations: Abstract Quilts in Solids.

As you are also probably aware, she just recently collaborated with Freddy Moran on a new book...Collaborative Quilting, which I LOVE!

The quilt above, entitled Little House in the Big Woods, is from that book.

    I am just loving that quilt. I made a christmas tree quilt a couple of years ago but it was really boring compared to this. I'll have to get this book....
