I just could not resist the lure of knitting and of this luscious yarn. I've started a pair of socks and am hopeful that my shoulder will permit me to finish them. The pattern is Tessarae (which I adore) and the yarn is BMFA STR Lightweight in Tide Poolin' colorway.
I love knitting socks and have missed soooo much being able to knit. If I remember correctly, it's been about a year and a half since I stopped.
Take care,
A year and a half is a LONG time Terri! I hope the shoulder takes your knitting well. It's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLove the socks. I love knitting--so meditative, imho. What weight of STR are you using? I may have to get some--not that I need any. But thinking I can't resist. And knitting is so portable. Glad you're able to get back to it.
ReplyDeleteOops--see you answered in your blog. See--I was taken by the color didn't read the details. Typical of how I work...
ReplyDeleteI love to knit and especially knit socks. I will check out the pattern and the gorgeous yarn later.
ReplyDeletesometimes it is a matter of how you sit and how you hold your arms. I get all propped up and make sure my shoulders are relaxed. I try to hold my knitting closer to lap.
Good luck!
That's an interesting pattern -- does it involve a cable needle? Beautiful yarn, too!
ReplyDeleteOooh, can't wait to see more -- my mouth is watering.
