My friend Holly...

Driving home from the grocery store today, I took the long way home. I've been learning my way around Etsy and just needed a bit of a break before coming home. The trees are in full blossom and some are already leafing out. It's a beautiful time of year around here.


I received my Quilting Arts magazine the other day and when I opened it up, I saw that my friend Holly McLean has had another article published. It's a great article too... something I want to try, and I love her example. She does beautiful work, if you are not already aware of her. You can find her blog here.


I cropped the photo so as to reveal very little. Just enough to whet your appetite!

    How sweet of you to write about me! A couple of years ago I would never have imagined being published. It's still exciting! I love the technique I wrote about and I expect I'll be doing more of it.

    Oooo she does do wonderful things. I'm so excited, saw my first robin today. Spring is around the corner, after a few plate size, heavy wet snow showers LOL.
