We took a drive on Saturday and ended up at Frazier Park. It's about a 2-hour drive from our home where the temps were in the mid-sixties at 10:30 am. When we got to Frazier Park we drove directly to the top of Pine Mountain where the elevation is approx. 6000' and the temperature was 38 degrees! Wow, what a difference. It felt wonderful to put on jackets, gloves and hats to stay warm.
We found pine cones and needles on one side of the road and snow on the other.

What a beautiful view! I'd love to be able to live somewhere that offered those kind of temperature changes with just a bit of a drive!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! And look, how cool is that? Kaffe Fassett even wears fun, colorful socks!
