It's Fall and it's still hot...

TGIF...and I mean it! It's just been that kind of week. Hot, smoky, busy with a capital B, and coupled with the fact that I just haven't been feeling up to par. So, I'm really glad it's Friday and when I'm done here, I'm going to go sit and knit...on my monkey's.

Did I mention it's been hot? Even though we're still having temps in the low 100's, we're also seeing signs of Fall. Weird.

We've also heard of several outbreaks of the H1N1 virus in LA already. Which is a little earlier than anyone expected.

Look what has arrived!! I'm so excited! I didn't expect to receive any of these fat quarter packs from Kaffe's Spring 09 collection. I've only got five (5) bundles, but they are gorgeous. I'll be getting them listed in the shop asap.

I apologize for the whining. :))

  1. It's so hard to quilt in the heat!!! We are quite cold over here (for now!), but you don't want to hear that! LOVE those Kaffe fat quarter packs, yum xo

  3. We have definitely had some fall weather here. Cool nights, beautiful days. But I do love the heat. Now off to see what you have for fat quarters.

  5. Here in New York, we always say that if you don't like the weather, wait a minute. We're going from nice to crummy all in one week, so I know how you feel about weather that isn't conducive for doing much.

So turn on the AC and knit away!
