Although it's way too hot during the daytime to knit with wool, at least the evenings have been cooling off enough for me to have finished these. They're the Tesserae's...a deceptively simple pattern which fits great!

And, I've started these. My first pair of Monkey's!!

Both in BMFA STR lightweight.

  1. I love those blue socks -- may have to go for that pattern! I made monkeys last year -- yours are looking really pretty. I hope you have an easier time memorizing the pattern than I did...

  2. Okay, I have to ask -- what are Monkeys??? They look gorgeous in the colors you've chosen, Terri -- love that yarn!

  3. Wonderful socks! I must try Tesseraes. I love Monkeys! And, of course, your choice of STR colors are both lovely. Dare I ask what you are using for the Monkeys?

  4. Oooo very pretty but does it ever get cold enough for wool socks where you live? I'm thinking you are in California, but I could be wrong...I often am LOL.

  5. I actually bought some yarn today. I am wanting to make a scarf or something for my daughter for Christmas, but I'm not sure I can get it done. I'm still a beginner knitter.

  6. I did the No Purl Monkeys and loved them. It's also the quickest pair of socks that I've knit!
