Quilter's Tweed by Robert Kaufman. This is the fabric I've used for sashing on my 9-patch quilt from Crazy Mom's Quilt QAL. I LOVE it! It's 100% cotton, but really doesn't look or feel like it. It's looks "manly" as I was told at my LOTE meeting the other night and that's good since this is DH's quilt for those cool fall and cold winter evenings in front of the fire and TV! When I showed it to DH, he told me it looked "femininely masculine", but he's a great sport and loves anything I make for him.
I'm just now pin basting it to the backing to get ready to quilt it. Hopefully, that (the quilting part, I mean) won't take me forever!
I know. It's not bright, wild or crazy, but it's different, and that's what I like about it.
Thanks so much for your comment. I really love hearing from you and appreciate that you visit my blog. If you do not receive a response from me, please do not feel ignored. As an online quilt shop owner, I am sometimes very short on time!
Very nice! I like it too.

ReplyDeleteCrispy
It really sets off those blocks beautifully!
ReplyDeleteWow very stunning!
ReplyDeleteGreat look! It's all about the blocks and the tweed doesn't compete at all. Off to see the different colors.
