I was looking through old photographs the other day and came across a photo of my mother that I forgotten about. She worked in a drug store in her hometown when she was quite young and in that photo she was wearing a really cute apron. An apron that would be quite popular today. It's funny how patterns and ideas really don't ever go out of style. They just get recycled with newer fabrics and trims.

Easy Apron
Clean Sweep Apron
Carryall Apron
Shimmy, Shake & Bake Apron
Valentine Ruffle Apron
Keeping it Real Sewing Apron
Paisley Apron
Scalloped Apron PDF
Marie Apron
Catty Apron

These are just a few of the many, many free apron patterns available on the web.

And, here's a wonderful website where you can customize an apron using your own photos, memories and phrases!

How fun! If you make an apron I would love to hear about it!

  1. I have only made one apron out of those dish towels that you buy to decorate and hang on holidays. It's a bib style one because I'm a messy cook LOL.
